We believe that being outside is very important for development and try to spend plenty of time outdoors and being active. We strive to serve only healthy, balanced and mostly organic meals. All meals and snacks are included in the tuition rates. For infants under 1 year we ask that the parents provide formula/breast milk and baby food. In order to provide the best care possible and to be attentive to each child’s unique needs, we are only accepting a limited number of children. I’m Mikaela, the owner/director of Milas Playhouse. Growing up, my mom owned multiple daycares that I worked at my entire life. When I moved to Corvallis for college I worked at the gym and library daycares there as well. I have always loved working with kids and watching them learn and grow! When I was 11 years old I took a babysitting class at the rec center and got my babysitting, first aid & CPR certificate! I studied infant and child development at Oregon State and got my Bachelors in Health Sciences from PSU in 2016. After college I worked full time at my moms daycare with infants, toddlers and preschoolers. I also have two beautiful kids of my own, Mila and Julian. I look forward to hearing from you :)
